Statement:
In this work, I explore shapes on the loom that I often saw expressed by the artists I worked beside during my years running tattoo shops. Experimenting with patterns, colors, and symbols, I seek to express wavelengths, portals, perception, naturally-occurring heliotropes, and philosophical entropy. This medium is very new to me, and I find weaving brings out the storyteller in me, in both imagery and intention
