Artist Statement

The subjects act as metaphorical cues to represent the struggles I face and the uncertainty I feel; alone, out of place, and especially unwanted in the land I reside on. What does the future hold for the land and ultimately myself? Bury me under the mesquite tree, and I’ll be happy.
