Artist Statement

This stylized niche that mimics a locker includes a casted glass nail polish modeled from those found with the remains of immigrants that have passed away in the Sonoran desert. It is my goal for the viewers to relate to these common everyday objects which the viewers may use in their quotidian routines, in hopes that they find similarities between themselves and the immigrants.
