Artist Statement

Without color this character is lifeless. I went through many different colors before finding one that matched the emotion of wrath I was trying to convey in her silent expression. With this particular shade of crimson she gained an otherworldly presence and agency. She is a floating head, representing the feeling of being overwhelmed.
