Statement:
Change is noticeable. Change is not always predictable. Change can be new habits. Change can be necessary. I changed. There have been times in my life where I was dedicated to Jesus Christ and His message to the point of death, to the point of full surrender. I am not that person anymore. Although my decision to walk away from the Christian faith was one I wanted, it is not always one I carry easily. This collection of photographs shows the struggle of sometimes feeling wrong in my decision and how the new person I have become is not always a pretty one. Walking away has granted me both freedom and despair, not one more than the other, and never one without the other.
