Statement:

When I first looked at this vase unloading from the kiln, I imagined a dense forest with tall trees and bushes. Rather than green, it shows a dark turquoise color, creating a dreamy forest walking in a dream rather than a green forest in midsummer. Melting down glaze naturally created tree-like figures, and the golden surface, which was visible between the glaze marks, was like a ground between the trees. The trees grow one by one, but they blend in and form a forest. Also, it reminds me “Be a thick forest rather than a tree.”, the phrase I have heard from my parents since I was young.
